Music Hall of Fame:

entertaining museum/hall of fame. Set up as multiple 'cafes'
representing different Georgian musicians, as well as any
musician who lived in Georgia at any time, this place is full of
memorabilia.
The
Harriet Tubman Museum:
With 14 galleries, a library and a museum store devoted to
African American achievements, this is Georgia's largest museum
dedicated to African-American art, history and culture. There is
a special tribute to Ms. Tubman, known as "The Black
Moses", and one of the leaders of the underground railroad
during the Civil War. Great collection of historical African
memorabilia.
Museum
of Aviation:This museum located
on the AFB offers displays of more than 89 military aircraft
including an F-15 Eagle, P-40 Warhawk, and an SR-71 Blackbird,
the fastest plane on earth.
Ocmulgee
National Monument and Museum:
Ocmulgee is an archeological site which has
temple "mounds" from a Southeastern American Indian
culture, which lived here 1000+ years ago.
The
Hay House: Take
a tour of this fine 18,000 square foot antebellum mansion, which
was built in 1855 and managed to survive the War Between the
States. It is known for its beautiful stained-glass windows and
Italian Renaissance Revival style architecture which was
uncommon for residential use at the time of its construction.
